Yorba Linda Bulky Item Pickup: Three a Year for Houses

Yorba Linda bulky item pickup gives single-family homes three free pickups per calendar year through Republic Services. Additional paid pickups are available year-round for anyone who runs out.

Single-Family Dwellings Only

The free entitlement is written specifically for single-family dwellings. Multifamily terms are not published by the city, so apartment and condo residents should ask their property manager or the hauler directly.

Yorba Linda shares that restriction with Garden Grove and Placentia. By contrast, La Habra counts its allowance per unit and Lake Forest gives multifamily properties ten collections a year, so the county is far from consistent on this.

Three Free, Then Paid

Running out is not a hard stop here. Republic offers additional bulk waste pickups for a fee throughout the year.

That said, the fee changes the calculation. For one awkward item a paid pickup may be reasonable, while for a garage full of belongings it rarely is.

Call Republic Services on 800-700-8610 to book, or schedule a bulk pickup through an online account.

What Is Not Accepted

Household hazardous waste needs a separate route. The service guide directs residents to the county drop-off locations, and OC Waste and Recycling lists them along with hours.

Construction and demolition debris is generally outside bulky programs as well, so remodel material, tile, drywall and lumber need their own plan.

Big Lots Make the Carry Longer

Yorba Linda has some of the largest residential lots in north Orange County, and a high rate of owner occupancy. Plenty of properties include long driveways, deep back yards, detached workshops and equestrian space.

All of that is pleasant to live with and awkward to clear. The walk from a back shed or a rear garage to the street can be considerable, and the program collects at the curb only.

Consequently, the constraint here is rarely the three-pickup limit. It is the distance and the weight.

How to Book

Call ahead and list each item, because crews work from the ticket. Then set everything out the night before your collection day rather than days in advance.

What We Remove in Yorba Linda

Our Yorba Linda crews cover furniture removal, appliance removal, garage cleanouts, home cleanouts, hot tub removal, mattress removal and hoarder cleanouts. Same-day and next-day appointments run seven days a week.

When Three Pickups Are Not Enough

Three situations come up repeatedly.

You rent. Then the free entitlement does not apply, and the route runs through your building.

The job is a cleanout. A garage, a workshop, an estate or a move-out is dozens of items on one date.

It is heavy or far from the street. A hot tub, a piano, a workbench or a shed’s contents will not walk themselves down a long driveway.

We handle all three. Our crews cover junk removal in Yorba Linda seven days a week, usually same day or next day, and we bring the truck to the item rather than waiting at the curb.

Use your three free pickups. Call us before you start paying per load.
