HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR JUNK REMOVAL APPOINTMENT

A few minutes of preparation before your appointment helps our crew move faster, keeps your quote accurate, and gets your junk hauled away without any surprises. Here’s everything you should know before we arrive.

Group Your Items Together
If possible, gather the items you want removed into one area — a garage, driveway, curb, or room. This isn’t required (our crew can pull items from anywhere on your property), but grouping items together speeds up the job and helps us give you the most accurate quote on arrival.

Clear a Path for Our Crew
Make sure there’s a clear, safe path from the items to our truck — hallways, doorways, and stairwells free of tripping hazards. If items are in a backyard, garage, or attic, let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Know What You Want Gone (and What’s Staying)
Take a few minutes to decide exactly what should be removed. If certain items are borderline — maybe you’re not sure whether to keep or toss something — it helps to have those decisions made before we arrive so the crew doesn’t have to guess.

Set Aside Anything Hazardous
Separate any hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, or propane tanks and let our team know about them in advance. Some items require special handling or disposal, so a heads-up helps us plan the pickup correctly. See our What We Take vs. What We Don’t Take guide for a full breakdown.

Measure Large or Bulky Items
For oversized items like appliances, furniture, or hot tubs, it helps to know the approximate size and whether they’ll need to be disassembled to get through doorways or hallways. Let us know in advance if an item is unusually large or heavy.

Be Available for Your Appointment Window
We’ll call or text ahead of arrival, so keep your phone handy during your scheduled window. If your plans change or you need to reschedule, just give us a call as early as possible.

What Happens When We Arrive
Our crew will do a quick walkthrough to confirm what’s being removed and give you a final, no-obligation price before any work begins. Once you approve, we get straight to work — no waiting around, no hidden fees.
