Furniture Removal Huntington Beach, CA

Furniture removal in Huntington Beach looks easy on paper. The city’s hauler, Republic Services, runs a free bulky item program with up to four pickups a year and as many as 10 items per pickup. However, the city notes that individual items are capped at 40 pounds, pickups need 48 hours’ notice, and everything has to be ready at the curb on your collection day.

Unfortunately, a lot of real furniture doesn’t fit those rules. A sleeper sofa, a solid-wood dresser or a recliner can weigh far more than 40 pounds. On top of that, carrying them out of a second-floor bedroom or a Huntington Harbour condo isn’t something most people want to do themselves.

Doctor Junk Removal takes care of it. Our crew comes inside, carries the furniture out and loads it onto our truck, often the same day you call. Afterward, we donate usable pieces and recycle what we can.
