What Is Not Accepted

Construction and demolition debris falls outside the program, so remodel material, drywall, tile and lumber need a separate route.

Household hazardous waste is excluded too. Paint, solvents, pesticides and motor oil go to a county collection facility, and OC Waste and Recycling lists the locations and hours at no charge.

Buena Park carries a heavier mix of hotels, rentals and short-term housing than most north county cities, thanks to the Knott’s Berry Farm corridor.
