Appliance Removal Anaheim, CA

Appliance removal in Anaheim sounds simple, since the city’s bulky item collection program with Republic Services allows three free pickups a year and up to 20 items each time. However, there’s a catch: the hauler doesn’t go inside homes. So that 250-pound refrigerator, the washer in the laundry closet or the old dryer in the garage has to be moved to the curb before pickup day.

For many people, that’s the hardest part. Appliances are heavy and awkward, and moving them without the right equipment can damage floors, door frames and backs. Plus, you may need the old unit gone right away when a new one is being delivered.

Doctor Junk Removal handles the lifting. Our crew comes inside, carries the appliance out and takes it to a facility that recycles it properly. Meanwhile, we can remove other junk in the same visit.

Getting Ready for Pickup

Before we arrive, please empty and unplug the appliance, and defrost freezers if you can. In addition, shut off water lines for washers and dishwashers. If a gas range or dryer needs to be disconnected, have a qualified professional handle that first.
